first guy was definitely going too fast for the conditions......uphill, over a crest which turns a corner..... riding too fast in a spot like that is asking for trouble....

second guy made a rookie mistake of watching in front of him but not in front of the car he was passing....car driver probably didn't see him because he was hidden behind the car he overtook until the last second.... too bad.
