Re: Bad Crash!

speeding motorist has destroyed a string of supercars worth more than £500,000 in a London street after ploughing into them in scenes compared to action films The Fast and the Furious.

An Audi Q7, was allegedly chasing a Porsche, when it span out of control in Moore Street, Chelsea, smashing into a row of parked cars before flipping over.

One woman revealed that three of her vehicles had all been damaged; a McLaren, a Porsche and a Bentley.

Resident Summer Haider rushed out of her house. She told MailOnline: “I really thought there had been some sort of explosion, like a helicopter coming down.

“The driver got out. There was blood coming from his head.”

Another said it was a “miracle” no one was killed.

“It was very lucky no pedestrians were around,” she said. “If any other vehicle had been coming down the street they would have been history.”

The woman said the Audi driver emerged from his vehicle “dazed and in shock” and covered in blood with some hair missing.

“He was clearly in shock and had no idea how badly injured he was,” she said.

“He was saying he was chasing a car that had previously bashed into him. I made him sit on a bench until paramedics arrived.”

Others said the street, on which the average house is worth £4.5million, was “very dangerous” with drivers racing down it often.

Eyewitnesses likened the aftermath to a scene from Hollywood action films The Fast and the Furious that focus on illegal street racing.

Elizabeth Neville, a vicar’s wife, said she was woken by the sound of the collision.

“There was lots of shouting a swearing from guy after the crash. It was mayhem,” she told MailOnline.

Viola Pemberton-Pigot, whose black railings were destroyed in the crash, added: “Luckily I was behind curtains and did not see it, but I certainly heard the crash. It was an terrible noise.

“All the neighbours came out. We are all just grateful that no one was hurt. It could have been so much worse.”

A police spokesman said: “Police were called to Moore Street at 0031hrs on Monday August 5 following a collision between a car and number of parked cars.

“A male driver and passenger from the car involved were taken to hospital for the treatment of head injuries.

“Their condition is not believed to be life threatening. The driver however continue to receive treatment for serious head injuries. All of the parked cars were empty at the time of the collision. No arrests have been made. Enquiries into the full circumstances continue.”
