I did that when I was a kid, but it was going around a turn in a bank ATM drive through, door flew open and I flew out but I held on to the handle and just got drug along the pavement for a few feet lmao.

Is that a real child or a "little person"? Thinking why does someone have a camera in the dash board? So maybe this is not real? No offense if it is. I do have my doubts. Looks set up to me.

not only was the door opened by the kid (likely from idly playing with the handle) but obviously the kid was not restrained in any way...child seat or seat belt? those exist too

i think it was a kid and not a midget/"little person"/achondroplasia, people with achondroplasia look a lot more muscular.
but the in-dash camera made me wonder how common are those video cameras in civilian cars?

Cameras are common place in asian countries and its begining to catch on in the western world too its for insurance purposes so that you can prove that if you had an accident it wasn't your fault.
