Armored Money Truck Backs Up Over Two Women
Chile. An armored truck belonging to the security company Prosegur was reversing to park at a department store. The driver failed to notice two women standing or walking behind the vehicle. One was caught under the rear wheels while the other managed to scramble partially away. One woman suffered a severe open fracture in her lower limb after being run over by two of the truck's wheels while the other woman sustained less severe injuries but was treated for shock and bruising. The driver of the Prosegur vehicle was detained by the Chilean police and has been formally charged with causing serious injuries through negligence. The court has ordered a 90-day investigation period. The driver was released from custody but is under precautionary measures, and he must check in with authorities regularly and is prohibited from leaving the country. Local discussions have focused on the massive blind spots of armored vehicles and whether Prosegur violated safety protocols by reversing in a public parking lot without a ground guide. How about spending 25 bucks for a back-up beeper? |

Re: Armored Money Truck Backs Up Over Two Women
Maybe they were TRYING to make the truck stop and open its rear door, as can be seen at the end of the video, but only one of them was supposed to go down to let the other rob the truck, and they didn't decide in time |
