Staying with the disabled car was an option. Probably the best one in this instance, but hey, he gambled and lost. If the truck hitting him didn't do it, him hitting the guard rail post will. Have fun eating green hospital Jello while you learn how to wipe your ass again. |

Obviously, he stopped there so he could best use the oncoming headlights to see how to change his flat tire... seems reasonable. Actually, the two guys on the side of the road waving flashlights probably caused more of a distraction away from the oncoming hazard than if they had just pointed their lights directly at the obstacle in hopes of providing some illumination. |
