An ammunition and weapons warehouse belonging to the Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham militia blew up in Syria on September 9. At least 14 people were killed and 11 others injured.

The Syrian Ministry of Defense confirmed that the blast occurred at a temporary ammunition and weapons depot. The facility was being used to collect remnants of war and munitions ahead of their scheduled relocation.

Due to the site's close proximity to residential areas and shops, the blast caused severe damage to nearby homes and triggered multiple secondary explosions, which heavily complicated rescue efforts.
