The members of the Municipal Fire Station of Dos Hermanas (Seville) have managed to control the fire that broke out early Thursday, a few minutes after 07:00, in a warehouse belonging to the aluminum company Alueuropa SA, located on the N-IV highway (kilometers 552.6). There are no injuries.

It's an aluminium extrusion press. Liquid alloy goes in the left side at >660°C and is forced through dies, the round steel discs with shapes cut in the center. When the hydraulics burst, small droplets of oil hit the hot extrusion as it exits the press. The oil has a flash point of around 480°C and is normally difficult to ignite, but the air/fuel mixture here seems favourable.
