73-year-old Woman and a 74-year-old Man Hit by Car
The pedestrians were a 73-year-old woman and a 74-year-old man. The driver responsible for the hit was a 45-year-old woman. The accident happened around 11:22 am. When the firefighters arrived at the scene, the elderly woman was lying between the roadway and the sidewalk of the road, next to a crosswalk. She was unconscious, but had traumatic brain injury, in addition to suspected internal bleeding and leg fractures. The lady was attended by the rescue teams of the Military Fire Department and Advanced Support of Samu, later, she was medicated and taken to Hospital. The elderly man had only bruises on the arm. He underwent pre-hospital care by rescue teams, and was taken by family members to the hospital. |

There comes a time, age-wise, where when you go for a walk, you don't walk in traffic, no matter how spry one thinks they are. I am rapidly approaching that age.
