7 people injured as rally driver Jordy Ceron crashes his car into bystanders
2.6.2008 Chilean driver Jordy Ceron was competing in the Rally Mobil 2008 in Valdivia on the weekend when his Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 oversteered into a winding corner and skidded into the group of people. A policeman and his daughter, 10, were seriously injured while six other people suffered minor injuries. But Ceron kept on driving to the finish line, where he was briefly detained by police and tested for alcohol (pro forma). He is not facing any jeopardy for a legally sanctioned race. Rally Mobil is an annual event held on Chile's rural dirt roads. |

Yea, he had to have known he hit someone. I think that should take precedence to winning the race.
