India. The ferris wheel, which was carrying approximately 80 people at the time, crashed to the ground after a structural failure.

Approximately 30 people were injured, including women and children. At least 10 victims remain in critical condition at the Medical College. Two children are among those fighting for their lives.

Despite social media rumors, local authorities have not officially confirmed any fatalities.

Witnesses reported the ride was packed far beyond its safe capacity and claimed they heard loud grinding and cracking noises before the collapse.

They reportedly shouted for the operator to stop, but the ride continued until it broke.

A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed against the ride operator and the village head (G. P.), M. B, for negligence and failing to ensure safety standards.

Preliminary checks suggest the ride's base was poorly anchored and not designed to support the weight of 80 passengers.
