40 people hurt when fireworks display falls on crowd at Wrestlemania event
Orlando, FLA Fire department officials say a fireworks malfunction at a Wrestlemania event in Orlando, Florida caused minor burns to about 40 people. Fire department spokesman Greg Hoggatt said a cable holding the fireworks collapsed at the end of the show, sending hot embers from the fireworks into the crowd at the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium last night. He said there were burn injuries "up and down the stadium". Officials said all the injuries were minor, although at least three people were taken to a hospital for treatment. There was no comment from the sponsoring WWE. Stadium officials said they had no comment. |

Holy cow! that's a major mistake! Wow, this event has been surrounded by controversy for a while. Was just reading the other day about how the advertising billboards were changed to remove the nipples (damnit, it should have been Batman who didn't have nipples, not wrestlers!) SOurce |
