4 Killed when Train Hits Covered Van at Train Level Crossing
Bangladesh At least four people have been killed and two others injured as a train hit a covered van at a manned level crossing near a Railway Station. A Railway Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) said: “Chittagong-bound “Turna Nishitha” train from Dhaka crashed into the covered van of “Sohel Transport” at the level crossing around 4:30am on Wednesday, killing three people on the spot. “The incident took place when the covered van was trying to cross the trail tracks.” He said: “The injured were taken to Hospital where another one of them died.” |

Well the crossing arms weren't down but the headlight the size of the Sun was visible for miles.

It's still the absolute responsibility of the crossing guy to have those barriers down. Else some sleepy driver will chug right on in.
