Vietnam, a mini bus, going 81 km/ph collided with a car which resulted in one person being killed on the spot and 3 in or on their way to the hospital.
One man that owned a pick-up truck transported 8 injured people to the Hospital. One of these injured that eventually died was HIV infected and the helper got blood over his hands that were damaged by scratches so he was afraid of getting infected and asked at the Hospital for anti-HIV medication. At the hospital, the doctor said that the drug was only given to people to people on duty, not to ordinary people. 17 medical doctors and 7 people were suspected of being exposed to HIV when they were on emergency duty, transporting patients to the hospital, and were in direct contact with the blood of infected people.
