3 Injured when a Train Slams into a Car
On December 7 at 14:15 in Labinsk on the Mostovskoy-Labinsk railway section, a 19-year-old male driver and 2 female passengers of a VAZ-2110 drove onto an unregulated railway crossing when a locomotive was approaching. The train driver braked urgently. But due to the small distance between the car and the train, it was not possible to avoid a collision. As a result of the accident, the driver of the VAZ and his two passengers, one of whom was a minor, were injured and brought to the Hospital. |

Hmmm ... there's a red octagonal sign there ... looks like it says "STOP". (I thought Russian stop signs were marked "CTON", but having checked they do actually say "STOP". Learn something new every day, even when not trying!) |

Yeah, I was surprised to see that, too! It seems a LOT of European countries are standardizing their signs, and the regular "STOP" sign seems to be the one they like best. |

Russia... I presume the driver, passengers, train engineer and conductor were all drunk.

Re: 3 Injured when a Train Slams into a Car
Am I the only one that always looks left and right before going over a train-track? People seriously need to stop slowing their cars down or stopping them on train-tracks. How hard is it, really? |
