3 Injured when a Police Patrol Car T-bones Another Patrol Car at Intersection
On day 17 of the State of emergency in Peru, due to the spread of COVID-19 virus, two police patrol cars collided at an intersection in the district of La Victoria. As a result of the strong impact 3 people were injured, including 2 policemen. The event occurred at averaging 10:49 a.m. on Wednesday when the patrollers, taking advantage of the fact that the roads were free, hit eachother at the intersection as seen in the video from the security cameras. Everything indicates that the police officers did not notice that another of their units was approaching, despite the fact that the roads are free due to the State of Emergency that limits traffic. The third person affected in the patrol car crash was a woman who was being transferred to a police station in La Victoria. |
