2 Women on a Bike Hit Hard by a Redlight Running Car
Two women, 20 and 17 years old, were seriously injured after the motorcycle on which they were riding collided with a vehicle at an intersection Thursday night. After the accident, the car lost control and hit another 3 bikes parked on the road. According to witnesses, the driver of the car, a 39-year-old man, would have run the red light, causing the accident. With the impact, the victims were thrown from the motorcycle, which was dragged along the road. The car still lost control, and crashed into 3 other motorcycles parked on the road, almost invading the sidewalk, at the door of a store. Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) was called and rescued the victims, who were in serious condition. As of Friday morning (24), there was no new information about their clinical condition. The driver tried to flee the scene of the accident, but was stopped by people. He showed resistance even before the PM, but ended up in prison. Civil Police will investigate the accident. |
