2 Killed when a Speeding BMW Hits a Car 5 Pedestrians

The eyewitness recorder captured the moment of the collision of three vehicles , which occurred at about 7 am on Saturday, March 30, at the intersection of Nevsky Prospekt and Liteiny Prospect in St. Petersburg.

Judging by the frames of the video, the driver of the Hyundai Genesis car at high speed tried to rush the intersection to the prohibitory signal of the traffic light. He hit a Gazel, after which he rammed a Volkswagen passenger car, one of the cars was thrown back onto the sidewalk.

As a result of an accident, the driver of the Volkswagen died, two of his passengers, a pedestrian and the driver of Hyundai were injured and were hospitalized.

It should be noted that relatively recently, on the night of February 24, a serious accident occurred on Nevsky Prospect with a departure from the roadway. Then the BMW X6 knocked down pedestrians, two people died on the spot, three more were hospitalized.
