The flooding that hit northern Italy on November 24 and 25 claimed two famous victims in Turin, when a pair of tourist boats, described as “symbols” of the city, were swept away by the surging River Po and crashed into a bridge. The boats are known as Valentino and Valentina, and the Valentina sunk after the impact.   |
