Yesterday in Chelyabinsk region a storm warning was issued, but the organizers of the yearly "festival of the authors" disregarded the weather warnings.

Strong winds and lightning toppled some trees which fell on cars and tents.
In one of the tents two children were hit by the falling tree and died on the spot.

Other reports learned that also a man was hit by lightning and 7 others were killed by falling trees.
