Regardless of how shiny most retro mod cars look on the outside and how expensive the engine is under the hood, most of them are mechanically complete garbage, which lots of rattles and constant breakages. It’s not like it was a factory that put that car together, but some rich old guy and his friends with some pliers and wrenches, so the build quality is most likely going to be poor
