19 Year Old Woman in Kia Optima Survives Horror Crash
On Monday night, May 4, 2026, 19-year-old Demi Veasley miraculously survived a violent crash in Sterling Heights, Michigan, that literally split her car in two at the intersection of Hall Road and Schoenherr Road. Veasley was driving home in her 2015 Kia Optima when she was T-boned by a speeding driver who allegedly ran a red light. Reports showed the other driver was traveling at 80 mph in a 50 mph zone. The force was so immense that the car split in half; the back portion rolled into a nearby parking lot while the front remained in the intersection with Veasley still in the driver's seat. Despite the car being torn apart, Veasley walked away with only minor bruises, soreness, and a headache. She noted that while her vehicle was destroyed, the driver's side remained largely intact, with only a small crack in the window. Following the crash, Veasley shared that her first sight upon regaining consciousness was a nearby Taco Bell sign, which helped her realize she was still alive. She has since publicly credited her survival to a miracle and the grace of God. Sterling Heights police have indicated that the at-fault driver was likely impaired at the time of the collision. The investigation into the three-vehicle accident is ongoing. |

Attractive and articulate, unlike most of the typical inhabitants in that area.

Re: 19 Year Old Woman in Kia Optima Survives Horror Crash
It’s incidents like this that teach a person what’s really important in life and what’s not. Material possessions mean nothing compared to still being alive. She is a pretty female and obviously educated as well. Glad she’s okay. I lost a teacher in High School to an 18 year old drunk driver. My teacher, Michael MacNamara, was a wonderful man, a true mentor and a published author of several books. It was hard losing him. Drunk driver’s should get life. |
