Colombia, 17-year-old Mariana B. was driving a Navi-type motorcycle when, apparently, she failed to notice the stop sign and entered the roadway without stopping.

At that moment, a car traveling through the area collided violently with the motorcycle.

The impact threw the teenager several meters, landing her on the terrace of a nearby house, where she suffered serious injuries.

Neighbors immediately rushed to her aid and transported her to a medical center, where she was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.

The young woman remains under close medical observation, while traffic authorities continue their investigation to determine the exact causes of the accident and establish any potential liability.
