Mexico, A 14-year-old boy who was traveling with his mother to his high school, lost his life being beheaded when he suffered a vehicle accident.

The deceased was identified as Tristan, 14 years old, while his mother, Emperatriz, 55, was transferred to an hospital in serious condition.

The fatal accident occurred around 0700 hours on Monday, when the Honda vehicle, type Fit, white, was traveling at an excessive speed towards the east and over the indicated clearance, this according to the cameras of C-4 surveillance.

Due to the speed she was driving, she lost control of the car and hit the retaining wall in a curve.

With the impact, the second-year high school student suffered a head detachment; the police pointed out that the young man hit his limb against the retaining wall, which caused his head to be 50 meters from where the vehicle stopped.

Some drivers who noticed the accident reported to the emergency number 911 and paramedics from the Red Cross, Civil Protection and Fire Department found the minor beheaded inside the car.

The agent of the Public Ministry went to the place to take cognizance of the accident and order the transfer of the corpse to the facilities of the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) where the necropsy would be performed.

I've read on several comments on news articles several other things.

The mother was on her mobile phone.
The mother was driving with inappropriate footwear.
The boy wasn't wearing his seatbelt.
The mother has been noted as 53 years old + also 55 years old.
The mother was dropping the boy off to school.
The mother has died but many have said that she's been operated on + is still alive in hospital.

Now, I may be wrong here but I have looked on Facebook (since everyone seems to be on there!) to try to find the boy or the woman. There was only one result in the woman's name + I have no idea if it's a common name or not so it may not be her. But, she looks like she's in her 50's, several photos show her to work in a hospital (I've read in a couple of news articles that she's a doctor). There's a boy who is in many of her photos + his name is tagged in each one, the name isn't the same as the name that has been noted as her son's BUT news stories aren't always accurate. Anyway, clicking on his profile shows that it's been made into a 'remembering' page + only recently. Also there's a girl in some of the same photos as this boy + upon looking at her profile, she lives in the town/city where the accident happened.

Obviously this could be all coincidence + this woman + the deceased boy I found on FB aren't the people involved in the accident but they could be.
