12-year-old Girl Falls 35 Ft Down when Zipline Cable Breaks
A 12-year-old girl, Trisha B. falls 35 ft down from a zipline in India after the cable snaps. The teenage girl was visiting the area with her family. She landed on some boulders. Immediately after the incident, she was rushed to a local hospital. Eventually, she was shifted to a special treatment facility. She is now in stable condition after suffering several fractures and undergoing an operation. The zipline operators and the girl’s family had reached a mutual understanding following the horror incident. Safety protocols by the local operators could be reviewed by local police and tourism officials after the incident. |

The harness strap snapped and the cable is still there. Nevertheless, add ziplines to the person-shouldn't-do-in-India list.
