1 Killed when Truck Without Brakes Hits Another Truck, a Car and 2 Bikes
Colombia. A truck driver lost control of his truck, likely due to brake failure, and crashed into several vehicles ahead of it. Another truck, a car and 2 motorcycles were hit. The driver of the out-of-control truck escaped unharmed. A motorcyclist, a local farmer, named Leonardo F. C. was trapped under the truck and died after being taken to a medical center. Another motorcyclist, Darío C. F. suffered various injuries. |

Damn, that's nasty. A car driver would at least be surrounded by metal and have some crumple zones. No guarantee of survival, but better than being completely exposed on a bike. |
