I can't see any way that an operation that dicey could be anything other than ULTRA - F*CKING - DANGEROUS. I'm surprised that there are - if there are - any construction attempts like this that don't end up in disaster. |

There's always an element of risk involved in big construction projects. Think about how many workers died during the building of the Empire State Building or the St. Louis Arch. That's what insurance is for. If anything, the risk is a lot less nowadays than it used to be.
