Oh, of course they are. I never said I agree with any zoo. Animals should not be on display like a prop or decoration. Plus, plenty of animal cruelty stories come out of zoos.

Not all animals get along. There may have been something wrong with her too. Her hormones may have been off, he may have been off/not feeling well. Things like this happen all the time. If they were in the wild and she did get away, instead of being cornered - her chances of survival, without a pride are slim to none. Slow, starving death. Go nature! If you put a male human and female human together - they won't always tolerate each other. Some will kill the other - happens all the time.  |
