21-year-old Beatriz L.G. died after her head was crushed in a serious traffic accident.

According to witness reports, Beatriz was riding on the back of a motorcycle driven by her father when they lost balance after riding over a pile of trash that had accumulated on the avenue. The victim’s father fell to one side and Beatriz to the other. At that moment, a bus came and ran over the young woman’s head, killing her instantly.

Images shared on social media show brain matter on the asphalt near the victim’s body. Beatriz’s father sustained only minor scrapes.

The trash piled on the road was made up of grass clippings and other small debris. According to reports, the grass had been left there by city workers after cleaning the area.
