Young Woman Was Shot Dead By Sicarios in Colombia
Soledad, Atlántico Department. She was identified as Silvana M., no age given. Reportedly, she was riding her motorcycle when she was intercepted on a poorly-lit curve on the road by two sicarios. They forced her off her motorbike before shooting her multiple times. They then stole something from her - likely her mobile phone or her ID documents - before fleeing. |

Re: Young Woman Was Shot Dead By Sicarios in Colombia
There are two versions that could be related to the murder of the teenager. The first indicates that she had been the romantic partner of the daily newspaper worker Brayan José Hernández Arrias, who was murdered on October 20 in the Tajamar neighborhood of Soledad. Hernández Arrias had received threats to withdraw from the collection route, and also that minutes before he had had a heated argument with another person over the denial of the loan of a cell phone charger. The other hypothesis surrounding Silvana's crime is that before becoming Brayan's girlfriend, she apparently had a romantic relationship with a man who would be a member of a criminal organisation and who is behind bars. When the investigation into the young woman's crime began, a few minutes later the driver of the motorcycle in which the victim was traveling was detained. The deceased's belongings were found on him and it was established that he was Brayan Hernández's brother. The authorities have started an investigation to clarify the crime. |
