Young Woman Found Murdered With Slit Throat
Santa Maria da Boa Vista, Pernambuco, Brazil A young woman identified as Érica was brutally murdered inside her home in the Sertão region of Pernambuco, on Sunday (23). The victim's grandmother noticed her absence and went to the house to call her. When she received no response, she broke down the door and was met with a tragic scene: Érica was dead, with a deep cut on her neck. Beside her, her partner was also found severely injured, with a similar wound, indicating a suicide attempt. The man was rescued and taken to hospital. So far, there are no updated reports on his condition. |

The perpetrator of the crime is the victim's ex-partner. The 24-year-old man was found injured next to the victim, 21. According to the police, he had attempted suicide, but was rescued and taken to a hospital, where he is being held. He was arrested and charged with a crime and, after being discharged, will be sent to a custody hearing and placed at the disposal of the courts. |
