Young Woman Dying of Poison
Suicide by poison ingestion. She's still sputtering and trying to breathe in the video, but I guess the bystanders figured there's no point in helping when she's spewing that much foam. So bust out the cameras. Looks like she's about half an inch from dead anyway. I don't have a country of origin for this and I cannot place the language/dialect. So if anyone can source the vid and post here, I'd appreciate it.  |

Most likely organophosphorous pesticide poisoning which causes the classic SLUDGE syndrome. SLUDGE stands for Salivation(drooling), Lacrimation( tearing of the eyes), Urinating, Diarrhea, Gastrointestinal distress(stomach cramps)and Emesis(vomiting). These are consistent with the foaming from the mouth and loss of bowel and bladder control. I can't tell if her eyes are watering or if she had stomach cramps but it wouldn't surprise me. NOT a pleasant way to shuffle off this mortal coil.  |

I can't tell Tagalog from Khmer or Indonesian when spoken. I can usually tell Thai by the pitch, but not if the audio is bad. I generally suck ass at SE Asian languages regardless, haha. Hope someone can source this one. I know we have several posters from the Philippines here, as well as a t least one Thai and one Indonesian. And yes, in answer to the earlier question, I'm pretty sure that she's lost bladder and bowel control, as well. See that fairly frequently in poisoning deaths. Less than in asphyxiation but more than most other trauma. |
