You know, what gets me is how careless these girls were. I don’t condone or encourage committing murder, but there were several things they could have done (or not done) to increase their chances of getting away with their crime, the biggest of which is not recording the event, obviously. If all they had done was simply hold her head under water, it could have possibly been ruled as a drowning. It’s hard for detectives to distinguish between drowning, suicide and murder when water is involved. But with the beating, stab marks, and nearby witnesses, and of course recording the incident, you’re sure to get caught. Unless of course they were so brazen that they didn’t care or they wanted to get caught.  |
