1). Cover those back slices with a flutter valve type of dressing.. (allows air to escape, but not enter). 2). Splint that forearm with a pressure dressing.. Turn him over.. put pressure back on his back to help seal it .. O2 and transport.. NEXT  Ghetto/Redneck first aid could substitute the following: In desperate measures, duct tape and plastic bag will work in addition with t-shirts.. for his back his forearm could be a simple stick on both sides, above and below the cut site with a t-shirt for pressure. its better than nothing |
