Re: Young Man Fatally Gored by the Bull
Very interesting!!! One thing I don’t agree with is house cats mainly ignoring owners or people in general. Not my cats!!! I’ve had cats since I was 5, and dogs since I was 18. Right now I have 3 pups, 9 kitties. All my cats are friendly, but I give them lots of attention too… and THATS the difference!!! I firmly believe it’s not only the amount of attention they’re given but the type of attention too. They’ll treat you like you treat them, for the most part. It’s very simple: If you are extra lovey and give them real one on one attention, you will have a very lovey, friendly cat who wants your attention!!! My oldest cat, Q, (16yo Turkish Van, who is deaf) will come greet my visitors once they have a seat, even with the pups being excited. I also have 4 Savannah kittens, 1.5 years old, and two of them actually learned how to do the tricks I taught my pups!!! They started doing it themselves so they could get the treats. But one of those kittens, Lemminkäinen, the most outgoing, acts more like a dog, and actually hangs out with the pups, but especially me. Every night my dogs go to bed with me, and Lem sleeps right on top of me. Every day she goes out with the pups, eats with them, does ‘tricks and treats’ with them, it’s actually pretty funny. Lemminkäinen is in the process of learning all the tricks the pups do, ‘sit’, ‘sit up’, ‘paw’, ‘high five’, and working on ‘lay down’ now. (I’m not as consistent as I should be…) Oh, and ‘come’. I’m hoping to get her to speak too. |
