Young Man Dying After Being Shot
At around 11.30pm on 17th November 2018 in Manaus, 31 year old E.C.C.D.S. was shot dead. 'E' was walking towards his home when 2 men in a car stopped next to him. The men, who were armed with 9mm + 380 calibre pistols, fired 5 shots at 'E'. He was shot in his head + chest. The gunmen fled the scene + 'E' died a few moments later. Although 'E' did not have a criminal record, locals say that he was a drug user.

I don't give a fuck what anyone says about them but a .380 is deadly as hell. Very underrated for c.q.c imo.

I was watching crimewatch UK. One of the cases was a man shot. His brother came to him and before he died he told his brother he could hear him but not see him. My mind went to all those shooting vids where the victim is still...alive but dying.  |

I also laugh at firearms experts arguing about the lethality of such and such caliber when a lousy .22 or .25 ACP will send anyone to the grave!

Probably a systemic response, the visual system is a glutton for glucose/oxygen and could be shut down by the brain to conserve energy and not a direct result of injury. Just like when people pass out, the visual system is shut down just before you actually pass out. |
