I didn't find it strange. Rather large frame on that pistol and by the color was obviously polymer. Maybe a hot .380, say 90gr @ 1200 fps. That would plow right through her, ball ammo or otherwise. Could have been that. Or the ubiquitous 9mm. Possibly even .38 Super, which is VERY prevalent in Mex since it is illegal to own any firearm in a caliber used by the military. How's that for pathetic firearm legislation?
