Young Lady Shot Dead in the Street
At around 12pm on 10th April 2019 in the São José Operário 2 neighbourhood, 26 year old D.G.M. was shot dead. 'D' had just dropped her 5 year old daughter off at school when 27 year old A.P.D.S. + 21 year old L.S.D.S. pulled up on a motorbike + announced that they were robbing her. 'D' refused to hand over her mobile phone + tried to run. 'L', who was riding pillion, shot at her + she fell to the ground. She had been shot in her shoulder + died at the scene. A man tried to help 'D' but he got shot in his hand. Residents formed together to lynch the couple. 'A' was beaten + shot 4 times with the same gun that killed 'D'. He was taken to the hospital but died from his injuries. 'L' managed to escape the mob after a beating + was arrested.

All for a fucking phone! At least the crowd "lynched" the bastards and they got what they deserved. I feel sad for the motherless child that's left behind. |

That guy who stopped who to pick up the rock was awesome in a terrible situation. I’m just glad these people jumped in, i hate when people stand around and just watch.  |

The level of awesomeness in the crowds response is unsurpassed in Documenting Reality videos. Like fire ants in the Amazon Jungle, they swarm the invaders in seconds. APDS (armor piercing discarding sabot) and LSDS (LSD seller) didn't stand a chance. Its a good thing none of the men were at work at noon on a Wednesday, so they could boil out of their slums and attack the perps. The perps might have made a clean getaway if they didn't try to push start / save the bike. Which reminds me, on my first trip ever to Brazil, I arrived in Belo Horizonte airport in May of 1991, and helped push start my customers "Alcool" alcohol powered Chevrolet to get us going. We drove to his small but beautiful mountain top home, where his girlfriend and an attractive 27 yr old Bitbus lady programmer from the company were waiting to party. As I lay on his hammock, my host said "people at work say if you don't like someone at my parties, put on your clothes and leave..."
