Young Lady Dead After Being Hit by a Truck
On the afternoon of 18th February 2019 on the Duarte motorway in Villa Sonator of Banao, 2 sisters were involved in a road accident. 27 year old Y.J.L. + her sister, 23 year old D.J., were crossing the road in front of the Dominican Adventist University UNAD. At the same time, a truck transporting tyres was coming along. The driver lost control of the vehicle + crashed into the sisters. 'Y', a medical student + mother of a little boy, died after being dragged over 100 metres. 'D' was injured + taken to the hospital. The truck driver, J.I.M.E., was arrested.
