Two years ago I tried to warn these guys when they were planning protests. I warned them it was too dangerous and in the end would provoke just such a crackdown and accomplish nothing. The guy I was in contact with politely refused to change course and take the methods I explained. Anyway it is going just the way I thought it would. Actually I thought there was a chance things could get like this but I didn't actually think it would. Still it's better to avoid even the risk of this sort of confrontation. |
