Young Guy Beaten and Shot in Broad Daylight Over 18 Months Old Dispute
India, A curfew was imposed and web providers suspended for 24 hours in Rajasthan following the brutal homicide of a teenager. A, was killed on Saturday night by H.R. over a one and half-year-old dispute. “The brutal murder is the result of personal enmity and rivalry between two groups with no communal angle,” police told. The youth was shot after he was attacked and beaten by an iron rod from a gate, police stated. “panic-stricken” passers-by remained mute spectators.  CCTV footage exhibits the accused thrashing A. until he goes lifeless. The accused strolled up and down the road for round 5 minutes after committing the crime. A video of the incident was posted on the web on Saturday night, following which, the district administration imposed a curfew beneath Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) and banned web providers for twenty-four hours until 3 am on Monday. The body was handed over to his relatives after autopsy late on Saturday night time, police stated, including efforts have been on to nab the accused.   |
