What the fuck! Babies and children die every day-actually some really nice people die on a regular basis so I can't say this is any worse then anything I have ever seen.Good for them for embracing her death completely,right up to her final departure from the house.BUT MOM-put the fucking camera down! This shit is exactly why I hate Facebook and vanity blogs -put the camera down and EXPERIENCE LIFE! She has looked at the terminal illness and death of her child through the filter of that lens-able to pretend it's a fictionalized account of her real life and she was the star,her dtr was supporting cast.

It's so sad to see someone die so young, but I found the video touching. You can see this little girl was deeply loved, so many people were there for her to say goodbye. I don't want to judge her family for photographing this event, it's not exploitative. How can you blame them for wanting to hang onto their beloved little girl, whom they will never get to hold again?

That was very hard to watch. I had never heard of her but now I've watched the Youtube video of her and to see her alive and then seeing this is terrible. Those poor parents too, so special in allowing her corneas to be donated. Thanks for sharing this.  |

Wow, very well written, especially considering the circumstances. That man has my utmost respect. The part about carrying his daughters body chills me to the core. A few weeks ago our family cat passed away, and I was rather disturbed by the fact I had to carry her cold, stiff, body away because it just seemed so alien to how she was in life. And that was over a stinking cat. I cannot imagine what it would be like if it were one of my own children. Nice to see that he did his daughter proud and cared for and protected her as best he could for as long as he could.
