Considering their lack of proper traffic management, it's surprising if they don't have accidents like that every day. Why did the big white truck just slow down and stop in the middle of a highway? Perhaps he wanted to make a left turn, but there is a double yellow so that shouldn't be a legal place to stop for a turn. Same with the woman in the car, she was making an "illegal" left turn across a double-yellow. In that instance it cost her life, but she could've just as easily killed one of the motorcyclist that was traveling the opposite direction.

Great thinking Darky Angel. I wonder if double yellow means the same in Chespiritos Land as it does in the US? Maybe it means, "keep driving like an asshole", or this is what it means to the locals...
