The young couple Jhon L.J.C., 24, and Maria A.M.A., 18, were shot dead inside their home in Boa Vista on Thursday night (15). No one has been arrested.

Military Police officers arrived at the house where the victims were around 8:11 p.m. The couple was lying on the bed and was found with multiple gunshot wounds.

Jhon died at the scene. Maria was taken to the General Hospital of Roraima but did not survive and died at around 1:27 a.m. this Friday (16).

A 20-year-old man was passing near the victims’ home when he heard several gunshots and, upon approaching, saw two suspects wearing black shirts fleeing on a black motorcycle. He also said he was unable to see the motorcycle’s license plate.

The two already had tickets by the police for the drug trafficking crimes. Witnesses reported that the site is known as a drug peddling point, which should guide investigations.

Both were of Venezuelan nationality. Jhon was shot in the neck and Angelica was shot in the head. SAMU was deployed quickly and the USA-01 (Advanced Support Unit) crew provided first aid by stopping the bleeding and she was intubated on the spot but she also died.
