Re: Young Boy Drowns After A Long Struggle
shit feeling struggling like that then you end up gasping water into your lungs, then you stop struggling and become aware and calm and warm and accepting, almost happy to be there ,knowing all of a sudden its ok , you dont fight anymore because you just know you feel ok, same thing happened to me at 6 years old, odd experience and at 60 years old now the memory is still very much alive, but i cant explain away the serene calm that i experienced at the end , just before i was plucked out of the water by my father. weird is the only word i have for it. |

Not sure how the kid started drowning after reaching the side of the pool... Then again nothing really surprises me anymore...

Re: Young Boy Drowns After A Long Struggle
LOL. If adults can fucking drown in water they can easily stand in.....TF do you not understand that a child could possibly drown even when reaching the ledge of the pool. He's a child, fighting to save his own damn life and scared. Is a little kid really thinking clearly enough or has the energy to pull themselves out of the water, after all that struggling? Really? I knew 2 people who drowned in water they had visited all the time. Strong, fit, young men...they fucking drowned and died, nevertheless. So F U. |

Re: Young Boy Drowns After A Long Struggle
I worked as a lifeguard and I saw kids fucking around like this in shallow water all the time, I usually give them about 30 seconds before I'd intervene |

Re: Young Boy Drowns After A Long Struggle
Drowning silently. It nearly happened to my daughter when she was 8. Shie and I were the only people in a large outdoor pool, she was swimming, I was lazing. I was going to lay down and read my book but thought it better to keep an eye on her. A few minutes later I noticed her in the deep bit, swimming kinda weird, strange strokes, head almost under, tipped back, not making much progress.... then I dove in and swam to her, picked her up. She had been in trouble. Slowly sinking, couldn't get proper breaths. If I had decided to read my book..... It is very common, kids have drowned just feet from their parents in broad daylight. Drowning silently. |
