Not trying to disrespect their religion, however, if “god is great” like they say in the end then wouldn’t He have prevented the child from being murdered? It is pretty easy to only attribute the good things to a god because then he is pretty great all around. If anything goes wrong then he had nothing to do with it. In a way their god is like the opposite of Elon Musk; if his companies do something right then it is “10000 people work there so they must have done it”, however should anything go wrong then it is blamed on Elon.

Story didn't specify his crime, but like you said any claim is taken as evidence in some locations so I set it as alleged.

I'm pretty sure they meant the punishment part of the crime. I don't think anyone's suggesting we abandon due process. Thanks for mansplaining to us.

Correct. But once they've been found guilty, we spend massive amounts of taxpayers dollars to house and feed them for years and years. Give them their trial, let a group of their peers go over the evidence, then sentence them to decades in prison and call it "rehabilitation "?
