I feel sorry for the totally innocent person she plowed into and I hop they're okay but no loss on her part. There's even a pithy message here: Don't do drugs, kids! And if you drink and die, try to do it ALONE!  |

Reminds me slightly of a novel I read by John Cheever (Bullet Park) years ago where the first person narrator intentionally lets his ex-gf get into her car and drive off, completely intoxicated, knowing she'd kill herself. The chapter chillingly ends: "She lasted ten minutes".  |

I found a few articles about this crash and I haven't seen anything to indicate she was drunk. It seems to be a suicide. But anyway she could have just crashed into a tree or something else that wouldn't have put other people at risk.
