Wrestler Silver King Dies of Heart Attack After Collapsing in Ring at London
The former WCW star, who starred opposite Jack Black in 2006 comedy Nacho Libre, had been performing at the Roundhouse in Camden. The 51-year-old, who starred opposite Hollywood star Jack Black in the 2006 comedy Nacho Libre, had been performing at the Roundhouse in Camden on Saturday evening. Organisers of the Lucha Libre show confirmed his death as tributes poured in for the Mexican, whose real name was Cesar Barron. He is said to have suffered a heart attack in the ring, Mexican outlet Record has reported. Silver King's co-performers did not initially realise there was a problem after he collapsed following a kick to the side of his body while facing former WWE star Juventud "The Juice" Guerrera. He was turned over and counted out but when he failed to recover, a team of medics rushed on stage. Fans chanted "Silver, Silver" before the audience was told there would be a short break, and the venue was cleared out shortly afterwards. A member of the audience told: "It seemed to be part of the show at first but then he didn't get up - and then the medical team was on the stage. "Everybody was cleared out and lots of police and ambulances were there." The London Ambulance Service said paramedics arrived five minutes after being called at 10.21pm, but the wrestler was pronounced dead at the scene. |

What a bizarre way to go out! Nobody even knows you are dead since it's all an act. |

Re: Wrestler Silver King Dies of Heart Attack After Collapsing in Ring at London
The show must go on! One of the wackiest deaths on DR. Looks like the upper torso kick caused or worsened his heart attack (I have no medical training). Maybe a murder or manslaughter charge? He looked like he was in trouble before the kick, but how can anybody tell when the whole thing is an act? Kind of like 'crying wolf', no one believes you in a pro wrestling ring. Or he was telling the ref and opponent he was having a heart attack, but only speaks Spanish and they didn't understand him. After the kick, he was a lump of dead meat, but the opponent tries to make the show go on rolling him over and pinning him. Hillarious in an ultra sick, DR kind of way, he might already be dead.
