Worker Dies Being Launched 10 Meters when Disabling Fuel Tank Goes Wrong
March 8, 2016. A 49 year old man died in an explosion at a petrol station in Brazil when he was working on disabling and removing an old fuel tank. When he used a disc cutter sparks came in contact with the fumes of some leftover gasoline inside the tank. He was launched at least 10 meters. The man had head trauma and succumbed to his injuries and died on the spot. He did not wear protective equipment. ffs |

This is a crude version of a human cannon ball, and no safety net.

Fucking hell. I doubt any safety gear could have saved his life from that explosion and resulting impact.
