It is because they, as a breed, are bred for power and tenacity. The bred is meant to demolish it's victim. Sadly, when they go bad it has devastating consequences. I have seen bull mastiffs with the same personality and it has to be said that any one who decides to own a powerful breed with the capabilities these animals have they need to be fucking responsible! I work with dogs and I don't care who raises them. Never think for a second that your couch potato buddy doesn't have the ability to lose it. All dogs have that, pits just happen to be armed with some powerful weapons.. I love the breed but I respect it too.

i wish someone could translate this,what the man is saying,the man with the camera,and the one to her left both have reflective tape on the pant legs,and the man with the camera has a EMS type pant,the material i mean.you also hear rustling in the back ground of what i beleive to be a protective sheet or something,for her and for them,i believe they were just getting ready to treat and transport.the mans forcefull tone is most likely to keep her engaged.she responds with moaning,and at the start,sounds like shes saying something.if she was passed out on meds,drugs or alchohol ,she may have been so out of it she couldnt wake up.and if the dog hadnt been fed for some time...maybe it was just eatin..weve seen dogs eating humans on here before,and it seems they always go for the face.they were most deffenantly EMS or cops

I think that's kind of what happened. The woman was probably so out of it, fell asleep and the dog started eating her face because the news said it happen while she was asleep. Maybe she had an open wound on her face and the dog was licking on it and progress to chewing. Some people said there is no blood everywhere and no defensive wounds on her hands, it's because the dog didn't viciously attacked the woman. It was probably taking its time eating her face, licking and chomping like a five course meal.
I posted this awhile back and this story is 100% legit but I can't say how I am related to the incident. Kind of similar to what you have here I guess...
