Re: Woman's Face Was Eaten by Pit Bull
Thank you. I think it's important to look at number of attacks, but number of kills is what is most important to me. Even if, say, chihuahuas were twice as likely as pits to attack, or even 3 or 4 times more likely, their attack power and tenacity makes them far, far, far less lethal. I really don't understand how anyone can look at the lists of people killed by dogs and not note that it's almost entirely pit bulls. I know that people say "socialization, socialization, socialization" BUT A. Just about every owner of every pit that attacked someone says the dog was always very lovely before. Are all these people lying? Did all of these people fail at socializing their dogs? How can you tell if you did socialize then correctly? B. Dogs don't care that I'm not the one who didn't socialize them properly. When they are chasing me, I doubt me screaming "this potentially could have been avoided had your owner properly socialized you!" will do me much good. |

Her face has been skinned. Some asshole is spreading rumors. The gullibles eat it up like candy. Dogs don't skin faces. |
